History of Pacha

After months of speculation, Pacha London opened its door in December, bringing some of that Mediterranean spirit to the capital, but presented with its own distinctly British twist.

Friday nights at Pacha London will be Musica. Taking invaluable inspiration from the original musical ethos of Pacha, Musica promises a diverse music program. Musica Promoter comments, "What we really want to establish at Musica is our own take on Pacha sound. For decades Pacha has built up a fantastic stable of resident DJ's that have become synonymous with the club." The back room of Pacha with big ambitions is the only place to hear the underground anthems of tomorrow, marrying the history of Pacha with the future of the cutting edge. Look out for everyone from Ross Allen to the Desperate Sound System, in an intimate environment in which people are as likely to be dancing on the tables as they are chatting with friends.

Seesamus Haji is joining as resident of Pacha Saturday, taking control of the main room. Joining Pacha London after a stint as resident at the monthly Defected night at the Ministry of Sound, and also monthly resident at Pacha Ibiza for Defected/MOS, Seasamus bringsa wealth of Eauropean Djing experience to the party. Meeting Pacha Saturday's promoter Rosario at the legendary Mazoom club in Milan several years ago and with his underground delight BPT "Godlike", forthcoming on Defected in the New Year, his star is definitely in the ascendant.
Seasamus Haji comments: "I'm very excited about Pacha opening. Pacha Ibiza is my favourite club in the world and I'm proud to hold a residency at the new flagship in London.
