London's West End

You can catch all the big musicals: Les Miserables, Sunset Boulevard, The Phantom of the Opera, The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Cats, as well as hosts of other plays, ballet, opera and comedy performances, all packed into the West End. The area is also brimming with good restaurants, many of which offer deals for theatre-goers. It's a good idea to book in advance for the more famous shows.
