Location of the London Boat Show
Now the show takes place at ExCel in London's Docklands
and is much larger than last year! Explore tall ships, naval
craft and historic boats dockside. Pick from the UK's biggest

largest mall for boating and watersports - with great show
deals.
Travelling to the London Boat Show
By public transport: ExCel is best reached via the London
Underground Jubilee Line. Get off at Canning Town and proceed
up the stairs to Platform 3 of the Docklands Light Railway
(DLR). Take the train heading for Becton. Custom House for
Excel is just two stops away from Canning Town. From the
City take the DLR from Tower gateway or Bank to Becton.
Alight at Custom House for ExCel. Visitors travelling from
Paris, Brussels or Lille on Eurostar arrive at waterloo
International. From Waterloo Underground Station take the
Jubilee line to Canning Town and follow the directions above.
By road: ExCel is 2 miles due east of Canary Wharf and
1/2 mile west of London City Airport, just of the North
Woolwich Road. ExCel and the Show are well both signposted
by both AA and normal road signs. On-site there are nearly
3500 spaces (£2 per hour to a max of £8). There
are another 2500 park and ride spaces at £5 a day.
All car parks have 24 hours surveillance.
By river: ExCel Express, a fast catamaran and coach service,
will transport delegates travelling between central London
and the ExCel Exhibition Centre throughout the London Boat
Show which takes place from 11th - 20th January 2008.

Places to Eat and Drink
ExCel and the neighbouring areas offer a wealth of different
restaurants, wine bars, pubs and cafes to choose from. With
a tantalizing range of world cuisines on offer including
Argentinian, Chinese, French, Japanese, Indonesian to name
but few, there really is a dining experience to suit every
taste. Many of the restaurants have fabulous river views,
making a stunning backdrop when the London skyline lights
up. On the mezzanine you'll find two restaurants and a relaxing
bar, whilst the waterfront café-bars offer superb
views over the dock. In the main exhibition halls there
are cool piazzas offering a selection of delicious world
menus and no Boat Show would e complete without the one
and only famous Guiness bar - bigger and better than ever!
