For your comfort and ease of understanding the key information about the hotel is available here. However, please feel free to explore the rest of the site where you will find supplementary photographs and additional facts.
The Georgian House Hotel is a unique bed and breakfast. The location in the city centre is superb, close to all the major attractions, an easy walk to Buckingham Palace and Parliament Square. The hotel is easy to reach from all the major airports, rail networks and bus lines as it is close to Victoria Coach and Railway Stations and the London Underground, as well as being in a perfect position from which to explore our beautiful capital.
The bedrooms are clean and pretty, with many of the original features from when it was built in 1851, yet with good, modern day comforts. There are two grades of room, standard and deluxe. All have private shower or bathroom, with television, telephone, tea and coffee facilities, room safe and hair dryer. In addition to this the deluxe rooms have DVD, radio, broadband connection, freeview television channels, complimentary Neutrogena products, mineral water and a bottle of wine, as well as a superior standard of fittings and furnishings.
We have a small building in the street behind the main hotel called the Bower House, where the rooms are very quiet and charming. They have private shower, but no telephone, and all the rooms here are deluxe standard. Guests staying in the Bower House can choose to have a continental breakfast served in their room or come to the Georgian House Hotel to have full English breakfast.
We also have some student rooms on the top floor of the main hotel, which do not have private bathroom but share facilities on the landing. These rooms have all the other facilities, are very sweet, and are extremely good value and you don't have to be a student to stay in them. They are on the fourth floor and there is no lift, so you do have to be fit. If you are interested in one of these rooms it is recommended that you book some time in advance, as they are very popular.
Please note that all our rooms are non-smoking and we do not have a lift.

You can reserve a room by,
or through the direct bookings section on the bookings page. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Euro, Sterling, and travellers cheques in Sterling. To find the hotel please visit the Our Location page, which has directions and a good map.
The hotel was built in 1851, and as a listed building new works are tightly controlled. For guests with special mobility needs it can be difficult to navigate. There are 3 steps to the front door to negotiate, but after that we do have rooms on the ground floor with no steps or ledges. In particular we have one room which is wheelchair accessible, with wider door openings and a larger shower room with grab rails for the toilet. Please note that the shower in this room does not have wheelchair access. Because of the restrictions of the building itself we do bend over backwards to help all our guests, but particularly those with special needs. We will gladly do everything we can to carry luggage, arrange room service for breakfast, store wheel chairs etc. If you need a ground floor room and specifically the room with wheelchair access, please ask at the time of booking and also mention any other special measures that we might need to arrange in advance of your stay.
