Buckingham Palace opens its doors to the public for just a few weeks every year. This is the only chance to see the lavish state rooms, furnished with treasures from the Royal Collection. The Palace is one of the few Royal residences still used as a working Royal Palace and it is used as the office and home of the Royal family. It is also used to welcome visitors of State, and to host official and ceremonial occasions. The tours include access to the special summer exhibition Queen & Commonwealth: The Royal Tour. Visitors also have access to a section of the wonderful gardens. Tickets are available on the official website www.royalcollection.org.uk and they include an audio guide.
