Pride Festival begins on 21st June, and includes a series of events covering art, poetry, music and performance. The end of the festival is marked by the biggest day of all – Pride London on 4th July. There is a grand parade which finishes in Trafalgar Square – the site of the main stage. There is a dance stage in Soho Square, a women's stage in Dean Street, and a stage for Black, Asian and Ethnic music in Carlisle Street.
Last year over 1/2 a million visitors took part and this year’s pride is expected to be even bigger and better. The theme is Come out to Play, and that is just what this year’s revellers are planning to do.
